Blue Cheese Dressing
Keep some good quality Roquefort blue cheese on hand so you can easily whip up this dressing when the mood strikes you. Savour the fantastic robust flavour using just one tablespoon, enough to excite your taste buds while eating fresh veggies or salads.
- 2 ounces (about 1/3 of a cup) blue cheese use a good quality blue cheese like Roquefort for best flavour
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated onion
- 1½ teaspoons coarse ground pepper
- In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients. Mash the blue cheese against the bowl as you mix, but leave some chunks.
- Dressing can be stored in the refrigerator up to 4 days.
