Creamy Dressing With Fresh Herbs And Tarragon Vinegar
I love growing fresh herbs in my garden because it is then ultra convenient to make recipes like this dressing. This recipe comes together quickly and makes one cup of delicious salad dressing. It can be made thicker by using sour cream instead of whipping cream and then can be used as a dip.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp tarragon vinegar see Tarragon Vinegar recipe
- 2 tbsp whipping cream
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- ½ tsp garlic minced
- ½ cup canola oil
- 1 tbsp flat-leaf parsley chopped fine
- 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped fine
- â…› tsp salt
- â…› tsp pepper
Instructions
- Whisk all the ingredients in a medium bowl. Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Dressing is best served at room temperature so, before using, bring it back to room temperature.
